So….I copied this idea from a fellow photographer……..it was such a fabulous idea, I could not resist!
I don't know how else to tell someone about me, beside writing it down in randomness, cause that’s me, very random....random thoughts, dreams, wants, needs...etc! So here it goes!
1. I day dream alot, so much that I think that they are like "night dreams"......I am a dreamer, just most of the time I don't know how to make those dreams to come true! Some are unrealistic, some real, very real……a few are: learn to play the guitar, own my own rescue dog ranch, be a kindergarten/art teacher, live in Italy for a month or two and do nothing but explore and take pics, do a picture documentation of something amazing (which might come true soon, my aunt goes to India and helps out a school and mission, around three times a year and she asked me if I wanted to go this year, so amazing), be a backup singer for some badass Texas country band (FYI I can’t sing…period), to have an amazingly cool family of my own (at least 4 kiddos or more), I could go on for pages and pages…….
2. I make up words and use big words wrong all the time....ambidextrous and bilingual, oh yeah I have used bilingual in place of ambidextrous!!! I get made fun of all the time from stuff like this!3. I absolutely love dogs! Which is weird, cause growing up I always had cats and my brother had dogs...I did not have my own dog until the year after I graduated college and my mom and I rescued a black schnauzer named Babee and that dog stole my heart! Ever since her, I can't stand to watch that Adopt an Animal commercial on TV with that Sarah Mclachlan song...nope change it every time!4. I would love to someday rescue dogs from the pound and nurse them back to health and find great homes for them, so I guess a Rescue Shelter (Star Studded Shelter or Star Studded Dog Ranch)……there I go with my random dreams!5. Music makes me feel alive……with all that I have going on right now (photography business, full time job, social life, etc) I sometimes feel like I don’t have a life…..I am not married, no kids, so you know I don’t have that HoMe and FaMiLy to fill that void in my life right now! I do want that, though, more than anything! Music fuels the soul and stirs my dreaming all over again!6. I can’t wait to be a wife and a mom…….I think it will be the most rewarding, most fulfilling………..the best feeling in the world!
7. I cry a lot, especially at songs, movies, T.V., weddings, etc…..I have a big heart and crying is my release rather it is happy, sad, love, excitement, etc…..I cry!! So if you see me crying at your wedding, don’t worry, that’s just me!!8. I put on a strong front……I may look and act strong and confident, but I am not all the time………sometimes I want to hide in my room and not come out for a week, I never have though! I just keep on truckin’!9. I come from a divorced family……..so I have the messed up family…….step/half brothers and sisters and step parents once removed, all that fun stuff……..I have mixed emotions about it though……on one hand I think it has made me a better, stronger person and on the other, I think I have serious relationship issues from it!10. I think I am a very organized person, but when it comes down to it, I work/live better in randomness!
11. I love the Lord and know that He is my salvation……I just wish I was better at going to church, worshiping and understanding His word!12. Christmas music makes me smile! I would listen to it all year round 1. If I would not get made fun of and 2. If it was cold! I think it needs to be cold to listen to Christmas music!! Weirdo! I know! (My dad and his side of the family live in South Texas, Corpus area, and the last trip I made down there, which was just a few months ago, I found an All Year Christmas Music Station…..yeah you heard me right!!! I was pumped…even though it was not cold outside….I still listened to it for like 2 hours.)13. I LoVe stars……in the sky, to decorate with, in my business name, etc…..not just because it is part on my name……I can’t explain it, I just simple love stars!14. I love summer and I love winter, but I am always so ready for each season to end and the other to get here!!15. One of my best friends, Angela, came up with my business name…….it came to her in a dream one night and she called me and said “Star, your photography business name is going to be Star Studded Photography”…………thank goodness she dreamed that cause I was having such a hard time with what to call it, it would of just been Starla Warren Photography and how boring is that????16. This is my goals for me, by the time I turn 30, which is in two years and a month or so:
· I want to have finished the Masters Program at ASU Education 4-8th and be going into my first year of teaching
· Run a half a marathon, working my way up to a full blown marathon
· Have a well established photography business
· And one more thing to reward myself, but I won’t tell, it is kind of clique and stupid, but it is what I want!17. I am a nester……if that make any sense….I like having a home, with my stuff, things where I know they will be, come home to it all every night and be surrounded by my style and my dog!18. I love to decorate and rearrange my house or anything….it is my therapy, stress reliever, soul healer, but loud music has to be playing in the background for me really to relax!19. My music consist of Texas County, some Nashville County, a little 80’s, some John Mayer, Sarah McLachlan, some 80’s Country,……….20. Being that I am a photographer and have been to my fair share of weddings, I have my perfect weddings planned out, one for each season, just depends whom I marry and what season we plan on getting married in!!21. One of my worst fears is that when the time comes and I find the perfect man, that I won’t be able to have kids……22. I don’t have a favorite flower, I love them all, I love lots of color and random mix of colors, like for my fall wedding my flowers would be, all shades of reds, oranges, purples, and pinks!23. I am always on time…..in my own mind!!!24. My mom is my best friend!
25. I have like 4 BeSt friends and around 10 or so close friends and every single one of them I consider family and would do anything for!26. My favorite movie is Hope Floats and I can watch reruns of Golden Girls, The Nanny and Sex and The City over and over and over and never get tired of any of the episodes!27. I believe in ghost! Not the scary “I am going to kill you” ghost, but like spirits, maybe they are angels, but whatever they are I believe in them!28. My freshman year of high school, our house caught on fire and we lost everything……it was a really hard time in my life, especially since I am such a nester…….everything we had was gone! It was awful!29. I love love love steak! It is my fave food!30. I don’t like the word HATE! I don’t hate anything I dislike it!31. I don’t like hot showers or hot water period. It makes me sick to my stomach……I never take steaming hot showers, they are either luke warm or cold!
32. I grew up in a small town of like 1300 people, graduating class of 37, back roads, everyone knows your name, played ever sport possible cause we could, drove the “drag” like 500 times every night (cause it was the cool thing to do), etc….I would not trade growing up in a small town for anything!! It was the best!33. This is the last one……can’t believe I have written this much….33 was my basketball number and is my fave number so last thing is……..when I was in junior high I had purple, black, blonde, red hair, not all at the same time, my mom was in cosmetology school and she let us have whatever color we wanted and cut….my sister had Little Mermaid red hair in elementary school, cause she loved the Little Mermaid! Haha!!
